Dublin: William Porter, 1792. Hardback: full contemporary leather with morocco spine labels. . Good condition./No dust jacket, as issued. Original NOT a print on demand. . Portable 18th-century attorney handbook covering a range of civil and criminal actions and pleadings. Volumes one and two only of three volumes. Moderately edgeworn and rubbed with stain on lower inside corner of front board. Heavy wear to lower corners. Spine somewhat darkened and rubbed with loss to leather at head and tail of spine and superficial split along length of spine. Binding secure, but hinges split from heads of spines to midsection of both boards. Contents largely very good with occasional toning and foxing to pages. Previous owner's contemporary bookplate inside front board and signature on title page (John H. Peyton). Contemporary note on rear endpaper.

Lynch et. al. xiv [24], 312, [2] 295. Full contemporary calf binding with morocco spine label. Front hinge cracked but tight. Covers rubbed, head and foot of spine chipped. Text is clean and crisp with almost no foxing. A small piece of the title page of Vol I is missing (nor affecting text). Previous owner's book-plate, William Sharp, Esq. on front paste-down.. leather_bound. Good.

Volume III is not present. Volumes I and II bound here originally in one volume. Overall, a very presentable copy of this scarce and significant volume. Moderate shelf/edge wear, corners through, damage to head and heel, front board free at hinge (but present), rear board cracked at hinging, ink mark at head, owner signatures, touch of toning at text block edges, else tight, bright and unmarred. Brown full leather, burgundy leather labels, gilt lettering and decorative elements, five raised bands. 8vo. 312pp; 295pp.
