Condition rated fair only due to shipping damage to the edge of the rear cover and outer margin of several pages (SEE PHOTOS). NO owner's name or bookplate. 1951. First Edition Thus. Limited to 1500 copies, this being number 1460. Beautifully illustrated by Edmund Dulac with a title page emblem in brown, frontispiece and five other full color plates (mostly nudes and semi-nudes). Bound in the original off white parchment over bevelled boards. In undamaged condition, this book typically sells for $200 -$300 or more. The value in this copy is Dulac's autograph. No extra charge for the beauty of his illustrations.. Signed by Edmund Dulac. First LEC edition. Hardcover. Fair condition/No slipcase. Illus. by Dulac, Edmund (signed).
