Introduction by The Most Reverend Archbishop Martin J O'Connor, D.D., Rector, North American College, Rome. Zelie's fascinating character stands out from the pages of this book as we see her in her relationships with her husband, her children, her brother, her servants and her friends. All the traditional Christian values are so clearly illustrated in her life that it should make good reading for anyone at all. She has a solid piety, a good intelligence, strong will and an intense consciousness of the supernatural, particularly of the all-pervading presence of God. These are the things that stand out in her letters, in her contacts, in her personality. Description text copyright 2007 BooksForComfort. Item ID 16088.
