Very informative book on running a ship and understanding the uses of equipment etc. to be used by seaman at the time of publication. 591 pages in bright clean condition just some light browning to endpapers and previous owners name on front endpaper dated 1912, many colour and B/w illustrations, all present as listed plus very informative text, NO dustwrapper, outer boards are a little marked and spine a little browned. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Some gutter cracking. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with scuffing and marking to boards. Notable sunning to spine. Small splits (approx. 1cm) to spine ends. Book has a forward lean.
