VG in its printed yellow wrappers, with very light waving and soiling at the rear panel. Octavo, 363 pgs. Also includes a 1 pg. TLS from Putnam's Editor-in-Chief to Maxwell Geismar, close friend of Hinckle's and former owner of this copy. Geismar for many years was a literary critic of the first rank and John Dodds, Putnam's editor, imploring Geismar to give a quote for publicity and promotion.
