Thomas Nelson and Sons , 1908 . Hardback. . 24mo red cloth with gilt titles and rounded corners. Illustrated with 12 maps and plans by Bartholomew. The picture on this listing page is of the actual book for sale. Good only hardback. Head and tail of spine bumped front hinge tender. Front free endpaper and plan of Durham Cathedral are detached (but present). Foxing to endpapers and a few spots sporadically throughout. Pages are age-toned. Large coloured fold-out map at front has 2 2-inch closed tears and is lightly foxed to verso.
