Eight colour plates after paintings by Sir William Russell Flint as called for with their titled tissue guards. The front board elaborately gilt embossed. The gilt to the spine a little faint. Faded ink inscription to the front paste-down. 'Arthur Clapton. 3/iv/14. In Mem. of "The D'Oyly Carte Co." at The New Theatre Cambridge K.H.A.' Some toning to the endpapers. Some foxing to the half title page with light foxing elsewhere. Some of the tissue-guards have some additional creasing. A crease to the corner of one plate with a slight shallow chip to the head of the same plate. A crease to another corner and an expertly repaired tear of another plate. Two short tears to the margins of the final plate - expertly repaired. A very good, tight copy
