New York: Harmony Books & Warner Books, (1990 & 2000). First edition of each volume with the first one being a simultaneous paperback issue and the second a paperback original. Short stories and poems from the pages of Yellow Silk: Journal of Erotic Arts (1981-1996), whose guiding editorial policy was "all persuasions, no brutality." Includes pieces by James Dickey, Kotzwinkle, Piercy, Shange, Robert Silverberg, et al. The first volume is WARMLY INSCRIBED BY POND to collector Allen K. Mears, "Allen - To a thoughtful, ongoing, cared-for reader: thank you for being there. May Yellow Silk always keep you just a little warmer & a little more joyous/ Lily/ Mar.24,92." Copy of Mears' letter to Pond laid in. The second volume with small holiday card with AUTOGRAPH NOTE SIGNED by Pond to Mears in original mailing envelope laid in. Both volumes fine in paperwraps.
