Faintest of edgewear, else internally fine; appropriate Western brand-style ownership signature on front pastedown and flyleaf. A tight, attractive "First revised edition after limited edition, privately published in 1935...." H.E. Britzman in his preface describes this as "one of the classics of the Old Southwest -- Oklahoma (Indian Territory), Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.... For half a century Frank King rode over the Southwestern United States as a cowboy, trail-driver, rancher, cattle buyer, deputy sheriff and as customs officer on the Mexican border." HERD 1277.
