About This Item
Buffalo, NY: Quinn Publishing Company Inc., 1955. Magazine. Fine. Paperback. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Both cover arts by Mel Hunter. Both copies are fine with only a hint of wear. Covers bright. Insides unmarked, crisp, and firmly bound. The usual age toning for this vintage. The real story here is Roger Ebert. Born in Urbana Ill., and with a known interest in science fiction. These copies were obtained in Champaign. Each has a "return address " sized, pre-printed labet on the FEP with "Roger Ebert's Science Fiction Collection " and a handwritten date of "1956 " in blue ink. The copies are pristine enough alone. The added bonus of coming from Roger Ebert, when he was 14 or 15 in 1956, is even better..
