Contains black & white, colour illustrations and plates. Pages are mildly tanned throughout. Text is clear. Small open tear to front hinge, slight exposure to netting. Binding is slightly shaky, however pages remain attached. Boards have mild edge-wear with bumping to corners. Light crushing to spine. Gilt lettering remains bright and clear. Clipped jacket. Panels have light edge wear with tears and creasing.

Moderate tanning to pages with pen and pencil inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper with visible tanning to text block edges. Both hinges are cracked with exposed netting and binding is loose. Boards have minor rubbing and visible bumping to corners. Soft crushing to spine ends.

Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Black and white illustrated and photographic plates. Light staining, foxing and tanning to pages. Moderate thumb marking present throughout also. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking and staining to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
