"Prayers, poetry and prose selections, with comments by Elizabeth Gray Vining", combining two Quaker pamphlets published in 1942 and 1952. Author photo on rear jacket panel. Vining was a prolific author, won the Newbery Award for her 1942 children's novel Adam of the Road, and served as tutor to Japanese Crown Prince Akihito. ; 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall; 124 pages .
