Illustrator: Photography. 2.7 kg; 320 pages, indexed, includes glossary, suggested reading lists, and is illustrated throughout with full colour plates and numerous black-and-white photographs. Photographic end pages. The book presents an overview of Egyptian, Grecian, Roman, Byzantine and early mediaeval, and Gothic furniture, then the serious stuff starts. While concentrating on the Europe and England, the book also considers the styles of China Japan, Middle East, India and Southeast Asia. It then finishes with a review of the 20th century up to 1960. no damage to describe of the book apart from fading of the cloth at the top and bottom of the front and rear boards.
