Full leather binding with 5 raised bands to spine, gilt lettering, all edges bright gilt, marbled endpapers with black and gilt border to pastedowns. Two engravings to each volume on half-title and opposite page. Rubbing to spine, edges and corners, particularly to spine of Vol VII, with slight fraying and loss to heads of both spines. Vol VII has creasing to top corners. Some foxing to early and late pages, otherwise good uninscribed copies. PRICE REDUCED.. Presumed First Thus. Green Leather Boards.
