Bookplates, scattered foxing and a few insignificant creases and spots; spine labels renewed in period style; edges rubbed; hinges tender but sound, save for the first volume, from which the front cover, along with its endpaper, have become detached.. Five vols., 4tos; [10], [i]-xxxv, [3], 39-592; [4], [1]-623, [9] (index); [12], [1]-552; [20], [1]-500; [10], [1]-456; ccontemporary polished calf with elaborate gilt tooling on spines, dentelles, Greek Key motif on edges and finely marbled endpapers. A handsome set of the edition, with engraved frontispieces in first and last volumes. From the library of the famous botanist and collector of exotic flora Philip Barker Webb, with his armorial bookplate in each volume. (A large and heavy set - extra postage required).
