The heavy and extensive felling of timber which took place throughout the country since 1939, has resulted in the need for re-afforestaion programme of the first magnitude. While the success of such a programme will be dependent, to a large extent, on the energy and efforts of the private woodland owner, the best results can only be achieved by careful forethought and planning. H.M. Forestry Commissioners have also laid down that one of the requirements under the Scheme for the Dedication of Woodlands is the preparation of a 'Plan of Operations'. It is with the object of assisting those who have to prepare a full Working Plan that this book has been written. B2B. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
