Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Fold out illustrations. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. A couple of pages remain uncut at the top edge. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Sunning to spine.

GB: Whittaker Etc, 1890. Maroon cloth, gilt with small locomotive on front cover. Fairly clean and tight but spine bit faded and joints/hinges tender. Book is in good double plus condition with noticeable signs of wear and/or age. . Hardback. G++/No DW.
