First ed., 1928l 337 p., including pronouncing dictionary, clean and unmarked anywhere on strong though tan paper; pictorial end pages; beautiful b&w drawings by Frederick Richardson, many full-page; textblock firm but boards have detached from spine, the rear board still adhering. Cover ill. is faded, corners bumped and edges rubbed, inept effort to reinforce spine with black tape. Skillful rebinding would greatly enhance the value of this wonderful collection and ill.
