About This Item

Chicago: Newsstand Library Books, 1960. First Edition. Fine. First edition. 192 pp. with 2 pp. of ads in middle of text. Illustrated wraps. Signed by Charles Willeford on the front free endpaper, inscribed to former owner with "Good luck." Fine with uncreased spine, nice bright wraps, very tiny scratch to spine. An unread copy. This novel features one of Charles Willeford's memorable anti-heroes: used car salesman-turned movie producer Russell Haxby. Willeford's early pulp novels like this one are scarce signed.
