Pages are single sided. Some wear to edges and corners. Covers scuffed. Some wear at fastener holes. SIGNED twice and inscribed by the author. Publishing statement on title page: "This book, in manuscript form, was published by the American Merchant Museum Press, Kings Point, New York, in September 1987". A signed letter fom the author is included, reguesting two additions included with the letter: a sticker adding text to page 7, and a picture to be added at page 136. 302 single sided pages w/ illus. The memoir of Ann Arbor born Wedemeyer, whose amateur engagement with wireless changed his life, and he spent much of his career on ships (some on the Great Lakes), eventually creating his own business in his hometown. Uncommon.
