New York: E.P. Dutton & Co., 1926. 158 pp., green cloth with gilt lettering, borders and embossed vignette of boy and Pooh on front board. Top edge stained black. Illustrated endpapers. Binding is secure. Text block is clean, square and tight throughout. One preliminary page has slight lift off but nothing is missing. Illustrated dust jacket has1/2" to 1/4" chips at spine ends, corners and bottom front edge. Folds of the jacket are creased and cracked, spine toned. General soiling. Illustration on front and rear are clear and the colors true. The scarce jacket is now protected in a mylar sleeve. First American Edition, no later printing indicated on the copyright page. . First American Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. Illus. by Ernest Shepard. Small Octavo.
