House at Pooh Corner is a first edition published 1928. xi, 158 pp. xi, 178 pp. Uniformly bound in elaborately gilt-decorated full dark red and full blue limp morocco. Top edges gilt. Gilt devices to front boards especially bright and crisp. Faint ringmark to front board of Winnie. [Fading to spines with slight loss to gilt lettering]. Both internally clean. No ownership names. Ribbon markers. Pictorial endpapers and decorations throughout by Ernest H. Shepard. Possible variant publisher's deluxe bindings or expertly produced craft bindings. A very attractive pair. . Near Fine. Gilt-decorated Morocco. 1928.


The Bear of Very Little Brain and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have delighted generations of readers since Winnie-the-Pooh was first published in 1926. Three cheers for Pooh!
