Within the text there is one map-- showing area transversed by Wingate expedition, and one photograph of Brigadier Wingate. Red coloured boards with black writing on the front panel and spine. A journalist's report on the expedition led by Brigadier Wingate into Burma -- Japanese held territory, in 1942. chipping of the top of the cloth of the spine, and rubbing at the lower 2 corners exposing cardboard. Publisher's file copy name stamp on the front end page and the half title page. Previous owner's detail at the top of the first page, no other annotations. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
