Belfast, Ireland: H.R. Carter Publications Ltd, 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. William Conor. A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy. viii, 24, [2] pp. Featuring four full-page charcoal illustrations by Conor, one color frontispiece, and laid in is a Centenary Exhibition brochure from a 1981 show of William Conor's oeuvre, held at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. Bound in publisher's original green cloth boards, lettered in yellow, bowed a bit, sunned and discolored a bit along spine and top edges. Dust jacket is present but chipped and ragged and with some splits. A suitably good introduction to the poetry of the much beloved Irish writer John IrvineMember, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
