New York: Macmillan Company, 1922. . 12mo, gray cloth, front and spine printed in navy-blue; dust jacket with insect damage to fore-edges and foot of spine McAdie joined the U.S. Weather Bureau in 1891 as Meteorological Physicist and Assistant to its first Director in Washington. He was then transferred to San Francisco where, after the earthquake, he became one of the founders of the Seismological Society of America.
