About This Item

Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Publishers, 1983. Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9. Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Publishers, 1983. Paperback in Good Condition. Black and white illustrations. Clean, solid book, with wear to cover edges. Crease and rubbing down spine, small scratches to lower right corner, remainder mark. Pages are quite clean and completely unmarked. Aram Saroyan provides a moving biography of the life of his father Willaim Saroyan, American author and playwright. He was exuberant, brash, warm, sometimes sentimental and a beloved author. But there was another side, conflicted, that Saroyan had a difficult time admitting to himself. This is not an 'expose'. Aram tries to tell us of this deeper side and his father's pain. 168 pages with Chronology, Bibliography, Plays, Notes, and Index. 9.25 x 7.25 inches. 1983, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Publishers.
