Presumed first edition, 1967, hardcover with blue cloth boards in dust jacket, small quarto, 81pp. + 90 illustrations of Morris' work in both color and b&w. Book VG+ with sun to spine ends and edges of boards, mild wear to spine tips and corners, handsome gilt title to spine, binding tight, endpapers faintly off-set with foxing, text clean and unmarked. DJ fair with top edge of rear panel missing, spine head missing top inch, three scratches across face of spine bottom, other mild soil and edgewear, in protective mylar wrap. Laid in wallpaper samples vary in sizes and patters, showing some weakening to folds and mild tears to edges, with sample card.
