Two small tape removal abrasions on front and rear boards of mildly edgeworn binding with small inoffensive corresponding marks on front and rear flyleaves and same on front and rear jacket flaps; jacket otherwise exceptionally bright, clean and lovely. A tight and nice first edition of this cheesy whodunnit, a "Jess Roden Mystery" set in Kentucky featuring this homespun sheriff of Deer Lick. Jacket rear panel is a map of Deer Lick. Uncommon.
