Folio. colour lithographs Poet/Artist collaboration between Ginsberg and Francesco Clemente, being Ginsberg's poem White Shroud rendered in colour offset lithographs by Clemente, published in an edition of 1111 copies (No. 530) by Kalakshetra Publications Press Chennai (Madras), in green hand-bound, hand-woven cloth with gilt titling to front, and printed on handmade paper - on the occasion of the Francesco Clemente show at the Kunsthalle Basel May 13-June 24 1984; also includes the loose-inserted 4 page folio 'Allen Ginsberg Weisses Totentuch', being Jurg Laedrach's German translation of White Shroud (revised edition), published for the Kunsthalle show; in the original acetate dustwrapper; opulent publication 40 x 31cm, with vivid full-page colour illustrations; Very Good and clean throughout; acetate dustwrapper frayed along lower edge, lightly rubbed, minor closed tear and faint white vertical marks to rear.
