Dust jacket not price clipped ($2.00); shallow chipping around spine ends and corners; a few closed tears; in an archival mylar sleeve. 94, [1] pages. Inscribed to the notable Portland architect Leigh L. Dougan [here misspelled 'Lee'']. Ten of Dougan's buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. The first published collection of verse by Dean Collins (1887-1969), Oregon poet, columnist, dramatist and critic. He was the son of Oregon pioneers, born in Dallas (Polk County), and attended Dallas College and the University of Oregon, where he edited the Oregon Monthly. His work was regularly seen in the Polk County Observer, the Oregonian, Portland Telegram, and Oregon Journal.
