F. Warne, 1892. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1892. 359 pages. No dust jacket. Blue pictorial cloth with gilt decoration and lettering. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Ink marks to page edges and corners. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

A large, heavy book of 316pp. Red cloth covered boards, a little rubbed to the corners and faded to the spine. 28 colour plates with tissue guards and many b + w illustrations. Ex library - label to the inner board and small stamps to the reverse side of the plates, otherwise internally clean. Sunday School label dated 1915. Green cloth with gilt titles to front and spine is also blind impressed with an all over leaf pattern to spine and with a pattern of lines to the front. A couple of small flecks of paint to the front. Good copy . Hardback.
