MOVEABLE. (NISTER) WHAT A SURPRISE by Constance Lowe. London: Nister, no date, ca 1906. 4to (7 1/2 x 10"), cloth backed pictorial boards. Slight bit of soil and rubbing else near Fine. There are 6 fine chromolithographed leaves operated with a complicated mechanism that has the upper picture open on the diagonal to reveal another below. This is a wonderful Nister mechanical with an unusual mechanism. See Peeps Into Nisterland p. 299.
