About This Item

Atlanta Georgia: Business Press, 1969. First Edition. . Hardcover. Near Fine/None Present. NF/0/1st/Signed. The Atlanta Times was an ultra-conservative newspaper started in 1964 in reaction to the Civil Rights Movement in Georgia. The Atlanta paper survived for 15 months, officially closing on August 31, 1964, having lost between 2 and 3 million dollars during its short life span. This book is full of financial information, and has quite a bit in the last section of book about Lester Maddox. Book is clean, tight, with no markings or soiling, and signed to former owner with best regards. Fairly scarce.
