Faber & Faber, 1950. Hardcover. Good/Good. 1950. 32 pages. Purple jacket over blue cloth with gilt lettering.Ex-libris copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges. Loss to jacket edges. Jacket edges have been trimmed.

Also present is the about very good unprinted glassine dust jacket with a lightly toned spine, bit of loss at the crown, and several small chips and tears (some along the spine). Noted English poet Geoffrey Hill's copy with his owner signature on the front fly.
