The Wharf Restaurant, Seattle, WA, 1952; Large inaugural menu from The Wharf restaurant at Fishermen’s Terminal on Salmon Bay in Seattle, Washington, measuring 10" x 15". Whole Steamed Crab was available for $1.75; Prime Top Sirloin Steak with Mushroom Sauce, Salad, and Shoestring Potatoes $2.75; Assorted Seafood Plate with Tartar Sauce, Shoestring Potatoes and Cole Slaw $1.50; Halibut Steak $1.30; Willapa Oyster Sandwich with French Fries and Cole Slaw 80¢. The Wharf was in business for thirty years until 1982, when it was forced to closed its doors due to an apparent lease dispute. Rear cover with text describing the Valhalla and Moby Dick murals which were specially commissioned from notable Seattle artist Jack C. Corsaw, famous for his design of the globe atop the old Seattle Post Intelligence Newspaper Bldg. Printed on card stock. Very Good Plus, clean, crisp, bright, no chipping. Scarce.
