Hardcover in very good condition. 287 pages with 87 of them in full color including drawings, paintings, ancient woodcuts, old whaling prints, photogaphs, and maps. The text deals with every aspect of whales and whaling. Tight binding and clean, white, unmarked pages. Some waterstains at bottom of covers and spine. Dust jacket has closed tear at bottom of front cover. Bottom of dj spine is chipped and has a closed tear. Waterstain at bottom of dj and part way up the dj spine. We ship same day with extra care.
