HARDCOVER, bound in the original beautifully decorated cloth, partly in relief, pictorial spine elaborately illustrated, gilt sunburst on cover, large decorated corners embossed in gilt, floral endpapers (small label), marbled edges. In fine condition. An attractive copy in excellent state of preservation both externally and internally. ~ FIRST EDITION. A lavishly illustrated study of war and warfare through the ages. F-3
