Black and white photographic plates throughout. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to gutters. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Lettering is darkened slightly. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy chips, tears and creasing. Tanning to spine and edges.

Elek Books, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Translated from Swedish by Maurice Michael. The book itself shows little wear externally apart from some slight shelf-rubbing. The dust jacket is shelf-rubbed and edge-worn, but remains whole and bright. It has multiple small chips, tears and creases along the edges which do not affect the legibility of the text on the jacket. The spine of the jacket is rather marked. Internally, the back end pages are a touch foxed, but this does not extend into the rest of the pages, which are crisp and clean. Altogether tightly bound and presents charmingly in cellophane..
