The text is illustrated with copious colour photographs from across Britain. Bright blue coloured boards with silver coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour photographic dustwrapper with light blue and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The authors were little suspicious of the tourist bureau brochures of England, and, armed with their trusty cameras they set out to photograph the real Britain – the mundane, the extraordinary and the ordinary from around Britain. Not only that, they displayed their work in a 1969 mustard coloured caravan – thus The Caravan Gallery was born.  A little rubbing of the book corners and backstrip corners.
