Blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt embossed titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing to the book corners and backstrip corners. There is a faint blue spatter to all text block edges. The dictionary has thumbnail imprints for the various letters. The first two pages of the book and last few pages of the book have been creased, running vertically. Previous owners ex libris plate is affixed to the free front end paper and then naming is also placed to the top right-hand corner of the same page. Plain text dustwrapper with blue and white coloured background with red and white titles to the front panel and white titles to the backstrip. The only good thing I can say about this dustwrapper is that the majority of the dustwrapper is still present; it truly is in appalling condition. Multiple tears to the dustwrapper edges with chips and creasing. The front fold over panel has become completely detached -- though a previous owner has attempted to support it with tape, tape is still in situ on both the front and verso sides. Heavy rubbing and grubby marks to the dustwrapper panels. The front panel has also become detached from the rest of the dustwrapper, but this time the tape has held -- but again the tape can be seen on both the front and verso sides. Heavy rubbing also present to the dustwrapper.
