Berkeley: the Committees, 1969. 8.5x14 inch handbill issued ahead of the National Conference for a United Front Against Fascism in Oakland, part of the bold text slightly lightly inked, together with a numbered registration sheet (unused). Horizontal fold crease, penciled note saying it was received from the Black Panther Party in Berkeley in 1969. Lists the reasons for the conference, calling upon "Poor people, Black people, Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Chinese, etc. etc" to join; also includes a petition statement for community control of police.
