London, UK: Phillimore & Co. Ltd., 1948. 1st UK Edition. Frontispiece features black and white photograph of Mead House, Gulval, Cornwall. Total of 11 black and white illustrations. 164 pages + 12 pages of references and notes. Previous owner has signed name and date on half-title page. Front and back endpapers are lightly stained. All pages are otherwise clean and crisp. Navy blue cloth binding with gilt title on spine. Front cover has a couple of light marks. DJ is blue with black illustration of an angel at an alter on front cover, and black titles on spine and front cover. Lengthwise red stain on front cover near joint of spine, light stains on spine, and tail of spine is torn. VG+/VG.. 1st UK Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good +/Very Good.
