It offers a reconstruction of life in pre-horse days when warfare between tribes - often on a massive scale - was fought by infantry wearing armour". Time Period 19th Century. Locale: Midwest; North America. (Indians, Colonization--North America, Indigenous Peoples, Plains Indians, Warriors).
