Marietta & Smyrna, GA, 1993. First Edition. Consecutive, early run of this southern tattoo zine created by Patricia "PJ" Jettie, a heavily-tattooed 26 year old divorcee and member of Mensa. The zine was published for Mensans who formed a special interest group "to facilitate open and uncensored communications of the various aspects of skin enhancement...including but not limited to tattooing, piercing, scarification and branding" (Issue No.3, p.14). Contents consist of "Dear PJ" letters from various members, articles addressing concerns about the transmission of AIDS and Hepatitis, advice on getting tattoos and body modification, as well as photographs and flash. Jettie's letter is particularly revealing, explaining in detail her falling out with Tattoo Life magazine editor and Virginia tattoo artist Robert "Grandpa Groovy" MacMahan.
