Very clean and tidy ex-library copy without the usual stamps and damage. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean, title gilt perfect. Very lightly bumped to foot of spine. Text block clean, with moderate toning to edges, top edge slightly dusty. Feels read but binding is sound and firm. The only indications this is a library copy are contained on the FEP, there is the remnant of a lending sheet, biro notation, and pencil price. Additionally there is a little stamp ink to the front paste down. Otherwise the pages are crisp with only the very occasional feint finger mark from handling. Very good condition. Jacket grades near fine, with a touch of sunning to the red title and a small rub to the word "War" else it is straight and very clean. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection.
