First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 16 pages in the original color, pictorial, stapled wraps. 10c price on cover. SCARCE. This copy is VG. Front cover has modest soiling, a couple of small pencil marks, a faint red scribble ( about 2" x 1", and modestly creased page corners. Drawings of the Matador and Ferdinand are still richly colored both front and back. Inside is unmarked, clear, securely stapled, and modestly/evenly toned. Drawings in both B&W and color . Presumed first edition. A SCARCE copy of one of the all-time children's classics..
