Wallis's New Game exhibiting a Voyage round The World

by WALLIS, E., publisher

London: John Wallis, nd, 1820. Folding canvas-backed handcoloured engraved game, in original blind-stamped cloth slipcase with gilt title vignette; in very good original condition; lacks rule book. Very decorative bi-hemispherical race game of a voyage around the world, with Port Jackson and Van Diemen's Land as ports of call. It is indeed rare to find games that mention Australia from this early period. Wallis was one of the main publishers of games of the period.
