New York: The Macmillan Company, 1943. Second printing. Hardcover. Good/poor. SIGNED. 514pp. Octavo [22 cm] Red cloth over boards. There is a 2" split in the rear board along the joint at the head of the spine, and there is a 6" bend in the rear board. Part of the dust jacket has been mounted to the rear pastedown. The dust jacket is tattered and torn. With pen and ink drawings by the author. Inscribed by the author to noted California/Yosemite bibliographer, Francis Farquhar.
