Story of Catharine and Susan, two wooden dolls, becoming involved with the suffragette movement and falling foul of the law, and giving in very quickly to going home with the lesson and thoughts of the time that was where they belonged. A splendidly illustrated book with full page colour illustrations and an insight to a bygone way of thinking.
