Early 1960s survey of Latin and South America with a focus on its most prevalent problems: widespread poverty and the need for economic development; the introduction and spread of Communism; and the lack of educational resources. Bright orange hardcover with blue cloth spine, 204 pages, dustjacket. The book looks and feels new and unread, with tight binding, very clean pages free from names or other markings, only a trace of light foxing to the top edge. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is in near fine condition with some minor shelf rubbing, no chips or tears.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
